Day 1 (Baghdad):
- Arrival to Baghdad International Airport
- Transfer to the Hotel and spend the night
- After breakfast, go on a trip to Iraqi National Museum, which is one of the largest museums in Iraq and has around 170,000 – 200,000 antiquities
- Then go to AL-Mutannabi St. named after the 10th century Iraqi classical poet which thrives with book and art stores, as well as street book sellers which are quite common in this street, in addition to AL-Shabandar Café which is one of the oldest cafes in Iraq
- After that, we go to the most prominent monuments in Iraq such as: Shahrazad and Shahrayar, Save Iraqi Culture, Aladdin Lantern, Liberation Square
- Then, we’ll go to AL-Kadhimiya holy city, to visit the shrines of Imam Mousa AL- Kadhim and Muhammad AL-Jawad (AS)
- Return to Hotel and spend the night
Day 2 (Baghdad-Samarra-Mosul):
- After breakfast, leave to Samarra the ancient Abbasid Capital
- Visit AL-Malwiya Mosque with its spiral Minaret from the outside
- Visit Caliphate Palace
- Next transfer to Mosul for 4 hours (300 km)
- Spend the night in Mosul
Day 3 (Mosul-Hatra- Baghdad):
- After breakfast visit the old part of Mosul that was destroyed by ISIS
- Visit the remains of (Walls of Ninewa and Nirkal Gate and Bashtaria Castle)
- After that we drive to Hatra to see the remains of the first capital of the Arab kingdom
- Drive back to Baghdad and spend the night in the hotel
Day 4 (Baghdad-Ctesiphon-Babylon-Karbalaa’)
- After breakfast, head to Ctesiphon (Taq Kisra) which served as a royal capital of the empires in the Parthian and Sasanian eras for over eight hundred years
- After Ctesiphon, head to Babylon to visit the ancient capital of Babylonian Empire (Ishtar Gate, Lion of Babylon, Palace of Saddam Hussain and Borsippa Ziggurat)
- Head to Karbalaa to visit Imam Hussain (AS) and his brother Abbas (AS) then to hotel to spend the night
Day 5 (Karbala-Najaf)
- After breakfast on the way to Najaf, will stop to see At-tar Caves and AL-Ukhaidir Fortress and AL-Aqaiser Church
- Continue our way to Najaf and visit Wadi Assalam’s cemetery, the biggest cemetery in the world. Then head to Imam Ali’s shrine and the Big Bazaar
- Head to Kufa to see the Grand Mosque of Kufa and Imam Ali’s house
- Return to Najaf and spend the night in the hotel
Day 6 (Najaf-Uruk-Ur-Nasiriyah)
- After breakfast we leave to Uruk which is known as the first city on earth and where writing was invented.
- Then head to Gareus temple
- After that we go near Nasiriyah and visit Ziggurat of UR
- Visit the birth house of Prophet Abraham
- Continue to Nasiriyah and spend the night in the hotel
Day 7 (Nasiriyah - Chibayish - AL-Qurnah - Basra)
- After breakfast
- Drive to AL-Chibayish marshes and start a boat tour and if possible, visit an Iraqi family, then stop at Marshes Martyr’s monument and have a traditional lunch in the Mudhif House
- we head to reach the exact point where the Tigris and Euphrates meet, precisely at AL-Qurnah
- Then go to Tree of Adam
- Head to Basra and visit AL-Musawi’s Mosque
- Check in to hotel and spend the night
Day 8 (Departure)
- Transfer to Basra International Airport and depart
