Day 1 (Baghdad): Upon arrival in Baghdad, you will be greeted by your guide and transferred to your hotel. After some rest, you will begin your tour of Baghdad, starting with a visit to the National Museum of Iraq, which houses a vast collection of artifacts from the Mesopotamian era. You will then head to the ancient ruins of Babylon, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and explore the ancient city's ruins and learn about its fascinating history. Finally, you will visit the iconic Al-Mutanabbi Street, a famous literary and cultural hub in Baghdad, before returning to your hotel for the night.
Day 2 (Baghdad): After breakfast, you will visit the famous Al-Shaheed Monument, a landmark that honors the Iraqi soldiers who died during the Iran-Iraq War. From there, you will head to the Al-Mustansiriya University, one of the oldest universities in the world, and explore its stunning architecture and rich history. You will then visit the Baghdad Zoo, which was once one of the most famous zoos in the region, and learn about the animals and their habitats. Finally, you will head to the Al-Zawra Park, one of the largest public parks in Baghdad, to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery before returning to your hotel for the night.
Day 3 (Hilla and Karbala): After breakfast, you will leave Baghdad and head to Hilla, a city known for its beautiful gardens and date palm groves. You will visit the ancient city of Babylon and explore its ruins and history. From there, you will head to Karbala, one of the holiest cities in Iraq for Shia Muslims. You will visit the Imam Husayn Shrine, which is one of the most important pilgrimage sites in the world, and learn about the history and significance of this holy place. You will then return to your hotel in Karbala for the night.
Day 4 (Najaf): After breakfast, you will depart from Karbala and head to Najaf, another important Shia pilgrimage site. You will visit the Imam Ali Mosque, which is considered one of the holiest sites in Islam, and learn about its history and significance. You will also explore the ancient bazaar in Najaf and have some free time to shop for souvenirs and local handicrafts. You will then return to your hotel in Najaf for the night.
Day 5 (Nasiriyah): After breakfast, you will leave Najaf and head to Nasiriyah, a city known for its rich history and cultural heritage. You will visit the ancient city of Ur, which is considered one of the most important archaeological sites in Iraq, and explore its ruins and history. You will also visit the Marshes of Mesopotamia, a unique wetland ecosystem that is home to a variety of flora and fauna. Finally, you will return to your hotel in Nasiriyah for the night.
Day 6 (Basra): After breakfast, you will leave Nasiriyah and head to Basra, a bustling port city on the Persian Gulf. You will visit the Basra Museum, which houses a vast collection of artifacts from the Sumerian and Babylonian periods. You will also explore the ancient ruins of the city, including the Basra Citadel, and learn about the city's rich history and cultural heritage. Finally, you will have some free time to relax and enjoy the beautiful beaches of Basra before returning to your hotel for the night.
Day 7 (Departure from Basra): After breakfast, you will be transferred to Basra International Airport for your flight back home.
